Strength-Training: Getting Through

Time of Day: 6:30 AM

Weather: Climate controlled

Duration:  About 60 minutes

Notes: I have a really busy day today, but then I have 3 days off.  I often sleep in later on days I don’t run, but today I had to get up early and get the weights over with if I was going to do them at all.  Sadly, I didn’t get to go to yoga class.

I didn’t do a long run yesterday, but I’m diligently continuing to take Tuesday off from running.  I’m just a much better runner with a weekly rest day.  Also, I need to hit the weights before I go to my parents’ house tomorrow because I’m definitely not going to the gym while I’m there.  So, I did my Longer Session and added extra rear deltoid exercises.  My rear delts are really weak.

In completely unrelated news, here’s what I made MSB for his birthday last week.  I feel like sharing, but don’t feel like writing another post and I’m running out of time anyway.

Yes, that would be a very bad picture of a giant cookie cake baked on a pizza pan.  I used this recipe and added half a bag of peanut butter chips.  It was great!
