Food for Fun: Loaded Oatmeal Cookies and Cheezburgers
Is it just me or does “Loaded Oatmeal Cookie” sound suspicious? What exactly are you putting in your cookies to “load” them, Better Homes and Gardens?
Well if you want to know, here’s the original recipe. Turns out BHG loaded their cookies with healthy things like flaxseed meal and wheat germ, but kept the good things like butter and dark chocolate. I made these for my grandparents because I thought they would like them. Jury is still out because they are probably in the mail. I thought they were tasty and just healthy enough.

Sorry for the awful picture. I made them as written but used white whole wheat flour to make them even healthier.
Yesterday I did an hour of strength training at work. This morning was 65 painful minutes on the elliptical. Last time I flew through my elliptical workout, but my legs felt the 10 miles from yesterday and I was hungry. Of course, I also got my Garmin in the mail yesterday. Since I didn’t need it today and all.
Attention! Your Daily Milo is here. Go vote 5 cheezburgers for him!
